Orcs (also called Goblins) were the footsoldiers of the two Dark Lords - Morgoth and Sauron.

The most important detail about orcs is that depending on what faction you are going to pick you can be a different type of orc. Most orcs are really similar so you have to be careful.

Choosing a specific type of orc:

  • Snaga
  • Orcs of Mordor
  • Orcs of the Misty Mountains
  • Orcs of Isengard
  • Hobgoblins

The lifespan of orcs is unknown and the average height is short.

  1. Snaga was a contemptuous term for the lesser Orcs of Mordor and Isengard, used especially among the larger and stronger Uruk-hai.
  2. It comes from a word in the Black Speech meaning 'slave' or 'servant'.

  1. The Orcs of the Misty Mountains were tribes of Orcs settled in the tunnels in or under the mountains.
  2. They are a mix of the orcs of Morgoth fleeing the War of Wrath and orcs sent by Sauron.
  3. Their bond to Sauron remained strong and even though he commanded from the far main dominions of Dol Guldur and Mordor they still carried out his will.

Orcs of Isengard:[]
